1 dead, 5 injured, after crash outside Miramichi

One person is dead and five more are injured after a two-vehicle crash in Lower Derby, N.B., just outside Miramichi.RCMP Const. Mark Wright said officers were called to the scene of the crash involving an SUV and a pickup truck at around 5 p.m. Saturday.The driver and lone occupant of the SUV died at the scene. The five occupants of the pickup truck have non-life-threatening injuries.The ages and genders of the occupants of both vehicles were not available.
