2 hospitalized after fire breaks out at Sacramento County apartment complex

One person was removed from a Sacramento County apartment complex fire and treated for smoke inhalation, while another person was injured while running down a staircase to escape the fire on Saturday night, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said. The fire broke out in the Arden-Arcade area at the Palms Apartments in the 2400 block of Marconi Avenue. Crews were dispatched at 8:13 p.m.
