Crab ‘Missing Several Limbs’ Crawls Across Seafloor Off Australian Coast

A crab missing several limbs was filmed crawling across the seafloor in the waters off Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.Marine Biologist Sheree Marris, who captured the video, told Storyful that the crab “had gone to battle and came out the other side with their life, but missing most of its legs.”“The chances of survival for this crab however are very slim, which is why it is seeking shelter,” Marris said.“You have to admire it’s tenacity and fight though,” Marris said, adding that she discovers new behavior every time she dives.
