U.S. Stock Futures Mixed as S&P 500 Inches Toward Record High

U.S. stock markets were set for a mixed opening on Thursday, with the S&P 500 hovering just below its all-time closing high. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down five points, or broadly flat. S&P 500 futures rose 0.1% and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.2%.
