Scot Pollard, a former Sacramento Kings player who helped the franchise during their run of success in the early 2000s, needs a heart transplant. “This virus unleashed my superpower and that’s extra beats as it caused a short circuit in my heart,” Pollard told KCRA 3's Michelle Dapper. Pollard shared a post on X Wednesday that said he is waiting for a donor and included a past photo of himself in a hospital bed.
