French NGO warns situation is getting worse for homeless people

French medical NGO Médecins du Monde has warned of a "clear deterioration" in the situation of people sleeping rough, reporting that at least two men had died in Paris in early January. The association is calling on the government to take "emergency measures". A 50-year-old man, who had been homeless for around twenty years, died in hospital on 2 January.
