Endangered Red Pandas Embrace Snowy Weather at Nashville Zoo

    Endangered red pandas at the Nashville Zoo enjoyed a snow day on Thursday, January 18, as a winter storm brought cold temperatures and snow to parts of Tennessee.Zoo staff members braved the elements to capture cute footage of the two red pandas – Bo and Mei Lee – playing in the snow. “Red pandas are native to the Himalayas, so this colder weather and snow is right up their alley,” a staffer told Storyful.The video shows Bo and Mei Lee running in the snow and climbing snow-covered trees.Nashville received freezing rain and light snow on Thursday, with snowfall expected to last until Friday morning, officials said.
