Game Over for Young Suspects After Spate of Ram-Raid Robberies

Surveillance video showed the moment thieves used a car to smash through the window of a video game store in Jacksonville, Florida, on December 30, 2023. Police said it was one of several similar incidents, leading to several juvenile arrests.The footage, released by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on January 23, shows the suspects run into a GameStop store, grab a number of items, and flee the scene.The sheriff’s office said near-identical burglaries were carried out against multiple local businesses that sold video gaming equipment and software between December 30 and January 1.Five people between the ages of 13 and 17 were been subsequently arrested.
