The most contested treasures in British museums (and who wants them back)

Typically there hasn’t been a huge amount of urgency attached to seeing our museums’ greatest treasures: many of the exhibits are hundreds, if not thousands, of years old already; and for better or worse, it’s never seemed like they were going anywhere fast.
