Dear Richard Madeley: I never got on with my mother, but now she’s 90 and expects me to care for her

I am a widowed, childless only child of only children. I have never got on with my mother, who is a bully. As a child I did what I was told or was hit and sent to my room. As an adult she issued orders and expected me to comply. I moved away and life was great until a few years ago, when I loyally moved back to the old neighbourhood. A mistake.
