Carjacking leads to high-speed chase, ends with car in ditch along northbound I-57

A carjacking led to a high-speed chase early Wednesday morning, ending when Illinois State Police deployed spike strips and the carjacked vehicle crashed into a ditch along northbound I-57 near the exit ramp to I-294 in Markham, a suburb southwest of Chicago.
