Potomac, Maryland is an exclusive community near Washington D.C., filled with gated mansions and country clubs. A few wealthy African-American families have historically broken racial barriers to provide a privileged life for their children. The Real Housewives of Potomac follows six women (Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby) who have secured their places in society through legacy or marriage.
