Groups seek to strip down Juvenile Law Reform Act

    Several community groups converged Thursday on Annapolis to take their complaints about the Juvenile Law Reform Act to state lawmakers. The groups demanded changes to the juvenile law reform bill currently under discussion at the State House. The House and Senate passed different versions of the legislation that still need to be ironed out, and that's where a coalition of community groups, child advocates and a public defender believe the legislation can be amended.
