Lions strengthen defense, agreeing on $27.5 million deal with D.J. Reader, AP source says

    The Detroit Lions have strengthened their defensive line, agreeing with defensive tackle D.J. Reader on a two-year contract worth up to $27.5 million, a person familiar with the terms told The Associated Press. Reader spent the past four seasons with the Bengals after playing his first four with the Texans. The 6-foot-3, 335-pound Reader is a strong run defender along the interior of the defensive line.
