The Dow Jones Industrial Average was little changed, and the Nasdaq composite inched up 0.3%. The Nasdaq composite rose 52.68 points, or 0.3%, to 16,306.64. The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies rose 7.09 points, or 0.3%, to 2,080.80.
