Feeling the heat at the Sacramento farmers’ market

    Despite the triple-digit temperatures on Wednesday, some people still made it out to Sacramento's Downtown Farmers' Market. "I knew it was gonna be hot when I started setting up at like 7, and I was already feeling it. I started sweating," said Diego Ponce of Ponce Farms from Delhi in Merced County. He was offering all kinds of varieties of peaches, nectarines, apricots and grapes at the event on Capitol Mall. "A lot of people don’t want to come out when it’s too hot now," Ponce said.
