Goldman Sachs is selling its Personal Financial Management business to Creative Planning, an Overland Park-based registered investment advisor. The deal comes one week after Goldman (ticker: GS) said that it was “evaluating alternatives” for the business segment. The personal-financial-management business was born out of the bank’s ambition to serve so-called mass affluent consumers, acquiring United Capital for $750 million in 2019.
