Suicide Prevention Month begins

Sep. 7—Suicide continues to be a health crisis in Georgia and across the country. Suicides claimed 1,676 lives in Georgia in 2021, with 118 deaths lost with youth between the ages of 10 and 19 years old, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
