Rep Mary Peltola Joins President Biden to Commemorate 9/11 in Alaska

    Rep. Mary Peltola, the first Alaska Native to serve in Congress, joined President Joe Biden in commemorating the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson near Anchorage, Alaska. The president made a stop in Alaska on his way back from Asia. Rep. Peltola’s remarks focused on the impact of the 9/11 attacks on Alaska, including Alaskan troops who served during the Global War on Terror.
