Early fall storm to bring rain over wildfires in Northern California, Oregon

    An early fall storm is expected to impact the Pacific Northwest and northern counties in California early next week, which could help douse some wildfires that have brought smoky conditions across the state. Over the weekend, an area of low pressure will move from the Gulf of Alaska to the Pacific Northwest coast, bringing with it rain and wind. The heaviest rain is expected Sunday night into Monday. Meteorologist Heather Waldman reports.
