Mercedes have no idea what is wrong – let alone how to fix it

After a disappointing Japanese Grand Prix in which they finished fifth and seventh, Lewis Hamilton said his Mercedes team need to have “the greatest six months of development” to have any hope of catching Red Bull in 2024. More worryingly, he also said that his car had the same problems with bouncing around Suzuka as it did in 2022.
