In Santa Fe, a Late Financer’s 3-Acre Compound Comes on the Market for $23.65 Million

    A Santa Fe, N.M., compound asking $23.65 million could set a residential record for the city, according to listing agent Todd Davis of Compass. The most expensive home sale in the Santa Fe metro area to date was a $17.45 million deal in 2008, Davis said. The property was the longtime home of the late financier Eddie Gilbert, sometimes called the Boy Wonder of Wall Street, who served two prison sentences in connection with white-collar crimes.
