Man Fatally Stabs 6-Year-Old Muslim Boy Outside Chicago, Sheriff’s Department Says

An Illinois man fatally stabbed a 6-year-old boy and wounded a woman in what the local sheriff’s department said was a hate crime motivated by the conflict between Hamas and Israel. Police arriving at a residence there shortly before midday found two victims in a bedroom, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Department. One was a young boy who had 26 stab wounds.
