Speaker Vote Is Under Way With Four Lawmakers Absent

Four lawmakers so far are missing—three Democrats and one Republican. Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R., Wis.) is the absent Republican; he has previously indicated that he would be in Israel. The missing Democrats are Reps. Lou Correa (D., Calif.), Brendan Boyle (D., Pa.) Vicente Gonzalez (D., Texas).
