Arrests Made, ‘Home of Hamas Official Destroyed,’ in IDF Operation in

    The Israel Defense Forces said 11 people were arrested and the home of a Hamas official was destroyed in an operation in the Jalazone camp, near Ramallah, in the West Bank, on October 28The IDF said two of those arrested were Hamas operatives. Storyful has not verified this claim.“[The IDF] in cooperation with the Civil Administration personnel, destroyed an illegal house of the activist Bugs Nachala, associated with the terrorist organization Hamas,” the IDF said, according to an online translation of an IDF post.“In addition, the forces searched buildings, interrogated suspects and arrested 3 wanted persons.A subsequent post said: "During the operation in the [camp], there were several disturbances that included the throwing of explosives, stones, Molotov cocktails and live fire.“The forces used means to disperse demonstrations and shooting to disperse disturbances. During an arrest in the morning at the Deheisha refugee camp in Zion, there was a disturbance towards the force who responded by shooting, injuries were detected.”Quds News reported raid happened at dawn and reported details about some of those arrested.
