Syracuse Ground Down By Boston College in Fifth Straight Loss

    It was announced shortly before game time that Garrett Shrader was injured and would miss the game, turning the Syracuse reins over to Carlos Del Rio-Wilson. As they did nearly a century ago, the Orange (4-5, 0-5 ACC) posted ten points, slugging it out with the Eagles (5-3, 2-2 ACC) all night, but gave up the deciding touchdown with 2:23 remaining in a 17-10 loss. The sophomore authored a pair of big runs, a 32-yarder that helped set up the lone touchdown of the night and a 56-yard burst to set up the Orange’s field goal.
