About 100 hundred protestors showed up Friday at UC Davis either in support or in protest of an anti-transgender activist who was set to speak that night. Riley Gaines garnered national attention for her response after losing a competitive swimming competition to a person who identified as transgender. Gaines has since become a vocal critic of allowing transgender athletes to participate in women's college sports.
