About 50,000 Gazans Fled to South Gaza on Wednesday, Israeli Military Says

    Around 50,000 Gazans had fled northern Gaza to the south on Wednesday, Israeli military spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said. "They are leaving because they understand that Hamas has lost control in northern Gaza, and in the south there is a safer area where medicine, water and food arrive," said Hagari. Hagari said Hamas's leadership in Gaza is underground and disconnected from its fighting forces.
