Alphabet stock was rising Wednesday following a report that said its Google unit plans to reorganize a large part of its advertising sales unit. According to the report from the Information, Sean Downey, president of Americas and global partners at Google, said at a department meeting last week that the company plans to restructure its ad-sales teams. Google laid off 12,000 workers in January.
