Crime legislation tops Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott's wish list for the Maryland General Assembly's upcoming session. The mayor said the city is making progress in the fight against crime with declining homicide and carjacking rates. Although some of the mayor's legislative agenda is not new, he's confident that state lawmakers will help the city continue the momentum in 2024. Scott told 11 TV Hill he'll be pushing at least four bills, some of which could reform home detention and the use of so-called "good-time credits."
