Ban on opening burning in effect in Latah, Nez Perce counties because of poor air quality

Aug. 21—A ban on open burning took effect in Latah and Nez Perce counties at 10:30 a.m. Sunday because of poor air quality, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality announced.
