Bear Startles Kids at Zoo With Sudden Lunge and Paw Swipe

A group of kids marvelling at a bear in Illinois’s Brookfield Zoo were given a fright when the animal suddenly lunged at them – luckily while safely behind the glass of its enclosure.Erin Merryn recorded the moment that left children and adults in fits of laughter, saying later in the video that she was, “secretly hoping for that to happen.”In the video, the adorable kiddos can be seen closely checking out the bear. The bear then decides to put on a bit of a show, and lunges at the glass.Though initially shocked, the children quickly start laughing.“The kids are telling every one about it and my sister and I are still laughing and watched this at least a dozen times,” Merryn told Storyful.
