The war over the kind of charging plug that electric vehicles in North America will use has been won. Another auto maker has come into the Tesla fold, but a few car companies are still holding out. Tuesday, BMW (ticker: BMW.Germany) announced it would adopt the North American Charging Standard, or NACS, for its battery electric vehicles in the U.S. and Canada starting in 2025.
