Canton neighborhood installing outdoor security cameras

New security cameras are being installed in southeast Baltimore — all part of a pilot project in Canton. The Canton Community Association is working with businesses to install up to 10 outdoor cameras in the area. "This is not for active surveillance. This is for if there is an issue that happens, say somebody's car gets hit, somebody gets held up, something gets stolen, they can request (footage) through our website," community association president Amanda Bourgeois said.
