Coronado High School outdoor studies class visits the Pike View Quarry

The outdoors class takes most of its lessons outside, where students learn about topics like water quality, native plants and trail maintenance. The students, who have an interest in science and the outdoors, learned about how weather, wildlife preservation, and geology play into the project to stabilize the quarry.
