Coroner called to scene of drowning in Connellsville

Aug. 26—A person appears to have drowned in the Youghiogheny River early Saturday afternoon, according to Fayette County 911 officials. Emergency responders were called to Yough River Park, just off North Sixth Street along the banks of the Yough, around noon.
