Death investigation reported along river, West Sacramento police say

West Sacramento police are investigating a death near the Sacramento River. It started with a reported disturbance around 1:45 p.m. along the 1600 block of Riverbank Road east of Interstate 80, the West Sacramento Police Department said. Officers went to that area and found a dead person.
