Gaza Children’s Hospital Evacuates as Israeli Forces Advance

Israeli forces closed in on the Al-Rantisi children’s hospital in Gaza, prompting it to start evacuating, despite warnings from healthcare workers that moving sick children would put their lives at risk, according to health workers. Israeli tanks and forces surrounded the hospital, which since 2019 has been home to the only pediatric cancer ward in the Gaza Strip. The hospital previously suffered extensive damage in an Israeli airstrike on Nov. 5.
