Goldman Sachs Chief Executive David Solomon says it’s no fun being criticized in the media after a wave of stories that focused on his personality, his use of private jets and his DJing hobby. The Journal, for its part, this summer reported that his predecessor, Lloyd Blankfein, [had said Solomon was spending too much time away from his day job](https://ift.tt/GARi1VS), jetting around on Goldman’s private planes and DJing at nightclubs and festivals. The chief executive predicted some brightness for the strategy, saying he thinks the market for initial public offerings and mergers will pick up this year.
