Grandma Pranked Into Thinking Videogame Is News Broadcast

A New Jersey grandmother got a rude awakening as she dozed on the coach at Thanksgiving, with her loved ones pranking her into thinking a scene from Grand Theft Auto was actually a news broadcast.“It was Thanksgiving at my house, my wife and I were hosting. Grandma fell asleep on the couch. I wanted to make the family laugh so I said let’s prank,” Jordan Bianchi said, explaining how 87-year-old Eulalia came to her rude awakening.The video shows Eulalia waking up, and her shock at seeing an in-game crash scene described as a real-life event.Bianchi said he reacted in fake surprise too, “trying to convince her it was real life (it worked clearly).”Bianchi added that Eulalia was assured afterwards that the video game didn’t show a real-life event. “Don’t worry,” he said, “she’s fine.” Credit: Jordan Bianchi via Storyful
