How the S&P 500 Historically Performs After a Record High. Investors Take Note.

    Investors are patiently waiting for the major market index to reach a record high. The S&P 500 is now within 1% of its all-time high, reclaiming ground after a near 20% dip last year. Since 1950, there have been 11 instances of the index climbing to near all-time highs after such a big dip, wrote Tom Lee of Fundstrat Global Advisors on Friday.
