Hundreds of migrants found packed in trailer in Mexico

STORY: The discovery was made at a toll booth in southern Cosamaloapan, Veracruz, where INM personnel and security officers heard cries and knocking at the back of the unit when they found the migrants.On board were women, men, and minors from Guatemala, Ecuador, Honduras, and El Salvador.The trailer and the driver were left at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office. The minors and families found in the trailer will remain under the custody of the local family welfare system (DIF), while the adults were taken to an INM facility in the state to determine their migratory status in Mexico.
