LOCAL TRACKS: Tonkin takes points lead at Afton

Jun. 30—Brett Tonkin of Carbondale followed up his win the previous week by finishing second in the 30-lap Modified feature at Afton Motorsports Park in New York on June 24. In the process, Tonkin moved into the lead in the track division standings with 410 points. That’s eight more than Shaun Walker and 10 ahead of Brandon Loucks.
