Marvel Studios confirmed it has parted ways with actor Jonathan Majors after a Manhattan jury found him guilty of misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment. Majors portrayed Kang the Conqueror, a new villain who is a jaded galactic emperor, in Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” “Ant-Man” was part of what Marvel’s parent company, Disney describes as Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which consists of over a dozen films and seasons of TV shows planned through at least 2024.
