McCarthy Confirms He Will Not Run for Speaker Again

In a press conference, Kevin McCarthy said he will not run for speaker again and will have the GOP conference pick someone else. “Unfortunately, 4% of our conference can join all the Democrats and dictate who could be the Republican speaker in this House,” he said in televised remarks. “I loved every minute,” McCarthy said.
