Former Vice President Mike Pence withdrew from the Republican presidential race Saturday, saying “this is not my time” after he struggled to gain traction in a crowded field dominated by former President Donald Trump. “I’m leaving this campaign but let me promise you I will never leave the fight for conservative values,” Pence said during a speech before the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas. The former vice president pulled in just $3.4 million during the third quarter of the year and it was unclear whether he would meet the Republican National Committee’s requirements for fundraising and polling to participate in the third GOP primary debate in Miami on Nov. 8.
