National Service would not only enslave our young people, but create a new woke army

Britain’s young people need a hand up. Locked out of homeownership by a dysfunctional housing market, and struggling to make ends meet with real wages still below their 2008 peak, it’s no wonder so many of my generation seem unhappy and eager for change. So what could be better for their mental health and economic prospects than forcing them to spend a year as corvee labour in care homes?
