New companies would be recruiting thousands of skilled workers to install and maintain all the wind turbines and solar panels. Electricians and joiners would be in huge demand to build all the giga-plants churning out batteries for our electric vehicles. And graduates would be getting snapped up to manage all the money going into renewable technologies.
