New sports fields open to accommodate growing youth population in Roseville, Granite Bay area

There’s a new place to play in Placer County – built based on a growing youth population in the area. Bayside Church will dedicate three new community athletic fields at its Granite Bay site during a community event on Thursday evening. Bayside leaders said they decided to build the new facility based on newly released population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau showing that Placer County is experiencing population growth of people under 10 years old.
