‘Officers had to react’: Omaha police chief on language barrier between men and officers in deadly shooting

Omaha police Chief Todd Schmaderer said the department is not fully sure if the men shot and killed by off-duty officers understood and spoke English, but at one point the driver asked for an ambulance in English.
